Yes, that’s right. My computer’s pretty much broken, so I’m playing board games instead. But that’s no bad thing – the board games that is – as there are plenty of great board games about! Carcassonne is one of these – a city-building game by Klaus-Jürgen Wrede which won the 2001 Spiel des Jahres. Carcassonne has now been released on XBox Live, along with two other favourites of mine: Settlers of Catan and Alhambra. I must say I’m mightily tempted, but of course I’d have to buy an XBox 360 first, and I already own the board game versions!
